Australian's impressive tournament comes to an end
Alexander Zverev has ended Alex de Minaur's impressive run at the French Open, beating the Australian in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals.
The German, who is yet to win a Grand Slam title, was too strong for de Minaur, winning 6-4 6-2 6-2.
De Minaur had been in superb form in Paris, reaching the fourth round for the first time in his career.
But he was no match for Zverev, who is now one of the favourites to win the tournament.
Zverev will face Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals, after the Spanish teenager beat Karen Khachanov in five sets.
